About Me

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Science in Honours Psychology from McGill University. I also hold two graduate law degrees from McGill and a Certificate in DBT Skills Training.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade working as a human rights lawyer. That experience deepened my understanding of resilience, perspective, and the complex realities people face—and ultimately led me toward the more personal, transformative work I do today.

In therapy, I offer a space that balances warmth with depth, compassion with clarity. Together, we’ll explore your experiences with curiosity and purpose, helping you find understanding and tangible ways forward.

My Approach

My approach blends acceptance and change, reflection and action. I aim to meet you where you are while offering the tools and perspective to move forward.

My work is:

  • Collaborative and engaging: Therapy is an active process—we’ll work together to understand, challenge, and shift what’s keeping you stuck.

  • Emotionally attuned: I listen closely and respond with empathy, curiosity, and sometimes a touch of humour to bring balance and perspective.

  • Integrative and practical: I draw from a range of evidence-based and insight-oriented approaches to create a style that fits you and your goals.

“In the middle of difficulty
lies opportunity.”

— Albert Einstein

My Mission

My mission is to help you reconnect with your sense of direction and agency—to move toward a life that feels meaningful, grounded, and self-led.

Through compassionate, evidence-based therapy, I support you in developing insight, strengthening emotional balance, and creating change that feels sustainable.

Therapy with me is a shared process of curiosity and growth. We’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and what’s possible—so you can move through challenges with greater calm, confidence, and self-trust.
